Marching Through March

March was good month with lots of cute happening between spring break, Easter and a visit from Grandma C. I love these kiddos of mine and am so glad when I take the time to take pictures of them during our day to day, these are the days I don't ever want to forget!

The first day of the month I participated in Super Tuesday-
I haven't been the most faithful or informed of voters, except for presidential elections. I'm not super proud of that, but I made it to the polls to try and get a decent candidate in position to lead our amazing country. It did not work and things are not looking great, but we will continue to pray, pray, pray!

Thad
Thad is a really good kid and it is not an unusual sight to see him doing this with his brother-
That boy LOVES to read and I sure hope he passes that love on to his little brother!

During spirit week the kids got to dress up as what they aspire to be when they grow up-
Thad is still aiming for the NBA and I love him for dreaming big! He'll do that after college, of course. Ms. Sayegh is so adorable and encourages the kids to keep on dreaming!

I LOVE this little project he did at school-
I love that he wants to be surrounded by family, it makes my heart happy. I hope to be doing those things when I'm 100 years old!

I also got to chaperon his field trip to the rodeo and I had a blast with him!
I even got to ride the bus and he was all smiles about that. :)

The petting zoo was probably the most exciting part of this chilly day of waiting in line to see lots of things and Thad took his time and checked all of the darling animals out.

The Pig Races were the next most exciting thing and we had a blast watching the tiny pigs race around the track!

We ended with lunch in the arena, but no lassoing or barrel racing to be had. Luckily kids are easy to please and they just thought it was awesome to have lunch in the bleachers...and not be at school, of course!

I love when I get one on one time with my kids and am so glad I have good friends that will keep my other two so I can do fun stuff like this!

Wes
We had preschool at our house this month and Wes always loves school when it's here. We learned about chickens and eggs and had some fun activities to go along with that.
I showed the kids what an egg is like before and after it gets cooked and they thought that was pretty awesome...even though half of them wouldn't try it.

They also made these darling chickies that went perfectly with my Easter decor!

Wes loves creatures and found this caterpillar on our picnic table one day. He held it for a long time, put it in a jar, figured out that they bite and accidentally killed it after his nap as he ran (with the jar in his hands) to each neighbor's door to show them his new "pet."

He is so adorable and is passing his love of bugs on to Eve!

Eve
She is just about the most adorable thing ever and we just can't get enough.
It's easy to see why:
