February FLEW by and it was a good one!
Mae has become attached to this dress and sparkly shoes and it is not likely you will find her without them if she is awake.
The kids had a snow day and were pumped that their 3-day weekend turned into a 4-day weekend!
The neighbor girls ended up at our place for lunch before making the rounds to each other's houses.
When I sent them off with hot chocolate in these cups, Anabelle was so excited that it was like they went to Starbuck's! I love little girls.
An extra day off school meant a sleep over swap with the Joyces and it was a total success!
Christine walked Eve to the park so Brian could pick her up on our side because their street didn't get plowed until the end of the day and it was too icy to get out. Crazy snow!
Brian hosted a birthday breakfast for Carter, the newest Teacher in his quorum, and it was a blast!
Brian - Edmund - Noah - Carter
Girl dad alert!
He literally lets them do whatever they want to him and it's darling.
I mean, how could you say no to this face?
Doggy piles are my favorite-
But from afar...I don't want to participate.
Thad became a teenager-
Valentine's celebrations-
Just watching our little girls get bigger right before our eyes-
Soak up the sun when we can-
And perfectly sweet.
All at the same time!
Eve competed in her first official competition and totally rocked it-
She took third in all her events and we all just loved cheering her on!
She did her very best and I'm so proud of her for working so hard. I told her as long as she could walk away knowing she did her best, then she wouldn't have to worry about a thing. And she did just that!
These kids seriously make every month pretty dang amazing-
2/2/22
These cute first graders celebrated TWOSday on 2/2/22 and had a blast! Eve had two braids with two bows that you can't see but I thought it was so cute that they celebrated.
Also, the kids got to stop wearing masks the same week as Twosday and we are all singing hallelujahs! My kids asked if we could have a mask burning party, but I threw a ton away when I thought we were done last year, so I may hold onto them a tiny bit longer. I don't ever want to spend one more dime on a mask.
I love Eve's style and had to document her outfit she picked out all on her own-
There's just something about sleeping kids that calms a mother's heart-
Sleeping dads are pretty calming, too-
And I'll sign off with this crazy gal just doin' her thang!
What would we do without her?
Love you, Mae Monsen!
