When Four Siblings Met #5

The kids were so excited to meet Liv after her much awaited arrival and not being able to come to the hospital due to COVID protocols. Since they all stayed with friends the night we came home, they all arrived at different times the morning of June 1 and it was so fun to have them meet her separately.

Mae arrived first with Liz and she was a delight to watch meet her baby sister! We met Mae at the door and then brought her to Liv laying in family room. It was perfect.

She really had no idea that the baby had come out of my stomach and that she was here to stay, but she stared at her with curiosity and became mesmerized by her pacifier.

She had to show her Puppy, of course! I love when toddlers want to share with babies!
These are precious moments I never ever want to forget.

Five minutes after Mae arrived, Thad got here and was enamored right away!

Can you even handle the sweetness of this biggest brother with his little sisters?! I can't! Tears for this mama every single time.

The five of us hung out for about an hour before Wes and Eve made it home and it was so fun!

Wes and Eve finally made it, and Eve could not contain her absolute joy.

Sometimes I can hardly believe I have been lucky enough to experience these moments. It's so surreal and I'm so so grateful. Nothing brings heaven closer than a fresh, newborn babe.

Wes soaked in every tiny detail of her knowing it won't last forever.
Oh, how I love this baby loving red head!

And just like that we have 5 whole children!

And we couldn't be happier about it!

How we adore these FIVE precious souls we've been given charge of!
(P.S. Mae would not allow anybody else to hold Liv for this photo...thanks for the support, Thad!)

Mae Turns T-W-O

Our little firecracker turned two and we had a blast celebrating her!

Cocomelon is her very favorite, so Eve thought of the idea to have Cocomelon themed decorations and they were a hit!

The big kids were so excited to celebrate her and we had a fun morning fawning over her and opening presents.

She made her way outside to try out her new bubble machine from the Henries and she looked like a rock star while doing so!

After some good play, this big girl helped give Liv a bath-

And then got herself ready so she could binge some Cocomelon!

I somehow convinced her to walk away from Cocomelon for a photo shoot and she did not disappoint!

She lights up our lives!

I made sure the big kids were around for a couple fun toddler outings and the first one was grabbing lunch from Jimmy John's and going to the park to eat and play.

They were all such good sports and made sure our favorite 2 year old had a good time!

We all love this 2 year old so much!

After our girl got a quick nap our next outing was a trip to the pool...even though it was barely 70 degrees outside...brrr!

Luckily these cuties didn't mind the low temperature and slight breeze and Brian and I just braved it for the two hours we were there...haha!

We were so proud of her for figuring out how to balance in the puddle jumper during this trip. She loved being able to swim around on her own. We sure love this little water baby!

After some fun at the pool we went home for a yummy spaghetti dinner and cake and ice cream to round out the birthday girl's night!
It took some work, but we got the traditional 2 year old shot!

I really love that I have this shot for all of my 2 year olds!

Mae was so darling while we sang to her and sang along with us a little bit and cheered at the end.

I hope all those wishes come true, baby girl!
Hip, hip, hooray for Mae!!
She is T-W-O!

Two things we love about Mae-

1. Her Fire! This girl is lit up to be alive and brings the light wherever she goes. She is mesmerizing and bossy, and perfectly child number four!

2. Her Voice! This girl speaks up for herself, but it's more what and how she says things. i.e. "Mease" (Please), "Hewp me" (help me), "Baby Wiv" (Baby Liv), "Chry?" (Try?), "Wa wa"(water), "Yog" (yogurt), Eeee (Eve),  Weth (Wes), Faddy (Thad), I yuh you (I love you). These are just a few of our favorites! And we all say "mease" now and it's the best!

Love you to the moon and back, baby girl!
