Cache Valley Crashers

Whenever we make our way to Utah a trip to Cache Valley is always a must. I love having one on one time with Breanne and her babies and we always end up having the best time!

Reuniting Baby Best Friends is always awesome!
Emmy and Eve are only two days apart and although they are very different in their physical abilities, they are both as sweet as can be!
We just hung out at Bre's house for the first day and once the kids were sick of all the regular things to do, the face paints came out-
The moms were not aware of this development and Wes runs in and says, "Look, mom! Brielle paint me like Spider-man!"
Whoah! Errr...something like that. Kinda scary.
I'm not quite sure what Bodie turned into-
(Bre made Brielle return that dollar to her friend that she charged for face paint. I love kids!)

But here is our group of rag-a-muffins that played outside all night-
Summer nights rock! (And so does Batman Thad)

The next day we headed to the movies for $5 Tuesday and saw the Minion movie. Leaving the babies with a sitter made the movie extra fun for Bre and I!

 $1 popcorn kept everyone happy!

After naps and Eve enjoying some jump-a-roo time we packed the kiddos up and headed to First Dam to enjoy some more mountain time.

Bre and I got to sit on a blanket and relax and watch the kids run everywhere. I guess Bre got to relax a little more than I did because Miss Eve was on the move the entire time!

We just kept telling Ems to take her time, there is no rush!

And Bodie boy ended our night with the display of his extra cool talent-
This boy always has something fun in store!

On our last day we headed to Body Pump bright and early where Bre kicked my butt. She is 20-something weeks pregnant and rocking it in the fitness department. It's been four days and I'm still feeling the burn! After the kiddos got up and going we headed up to campus to relive our glory days and brainwash our kids into becoming Aggies!

Now all five of us can say we're True Aggies!

After heading to the bookstore and acquiring some Aggie gear and Wes insisting on trying to make Ember a true Aggie...

We finally got some Aggie ice cream!
The kids were sure happy about that and we enjoyed every lick!

We cleaned up our crazy crew and headed back to WJ.
We were all sad to part ways, especially Eve and Emmy-

But we gave big hugs and can't wait to be reunited in six months.
We love the Millers and Cache Valley!

Utah Fun

First Night
The very first night we got here, the Wilsons gathered and we had a perfect summer night being with some of our favorite people after six months apart!

Grandma Cindy and Grandpa Kent got this basketball standard in the spring, so Thad was in heaven when he discovered it was here. Lots of time has been spent shooting hoops with Dad, Grandpa and cousins!

The night ended with a friendly game of "Ghost in the Graveyard." I'm not quite sure how to play, but it was cute to see my boys run around with their cousins!

After the Fourth of July, the fun didn't stop! Thad pulled his tooth our right before the Sato/Peterson BBQ and we were all so excited because that little guy had been loose for a couple months and Thad's hand was constantly in his mouth wiggling it. Yay for losing teeth!

These lovely people arrived and we had a great evening catching up with good friends!

Thad was pretty burnt out by the end of it all!

Grandma's Houses
Hanging out at Grandma Cindy and Grandma Teresa's houses never gets old! There is always a plethora of cousins, food and fun.

Thad was sad to come back from Caden's house-
Haha!

This Avery girl is head over heels for baby Eve! They make the best pair. In fact, she is here for her third sleep over and just laid Eve down for her nap...I love big helpers!

I loved watching these cute cousins pretend and play house.
Eve is never lonely when Leah and Avery are around and the boys love them too!

This wasn't at Grandma's house, but Leah was a great little babysitter while I was getting my hair done. We told her to keep Eve happy and Eve wouldn't settle down until Leah did this-
It was so cute to walk out and see Eve in the Bumbo surrounded by some of Leah's favorite things.
Cousins are the best!

I think it's safe to say these kiddos adore their Grandma Cindy!

Connecticut Connections
One of the best things about coming to Utah is getting together with my gal pals from three of my favorite years spent on the east coast.
Darleen.Camille.Me.Emily.Lindsey
Us five were able to meet up for dinner and dessert at City Creek while Darlene and Camille were also in from out of town. When we get together it's like we've never been apart!

The night after our fun dinner we headed up Big Cottonwood Canyon with the Jensen family to hike to Donut Falls. It was beautiful!

Being in the mountains is so much fun when we're in Utah and we really enjoyed hiking with friends and admiring the beauty all around us.
It really tuckered Eve out!

A few days after the hike some more of us Connecticutters were able to meet up at Emily's house in Provo for lunch. There were a lot of us, but it was so good to be together and catch up!

A couple kids are missing from this pic, but they were all there!

Friends
Just hanging out with friends is one of my favorite things when we come. I can pretend for just a little bit that we live here and do this regularly!

We got to surprise these three guys for their 30th birthdays and it was so fun to see everyone that came! We were all sad Brian was back in Texas, but we had extra fun for him!

Let's keep the good times rolling!
