Grandma Cindy & Grandpa Kent

Grandma Cindy can never seem to wait the six months between our Utah visits before she sees us, so almost every spring and fall we get a little visit from one of our favorite ladies! She decided to fly in on Wednesday and lucky for us Grandpa Kent came for the weekend! He was supposed to be here Friday, but his flight got delayed for an entire night and he didn't get here til Saturday morning. Lucky for us he is pretty chill and didn't let it put a damper on the trip at all.

These babes were all smiles and cuddles the second she walked through the door and stuck close by her for the majority of her stay.

We hung around close to home before Grandpa came, but headed straight to Austin after picking him up from the airport. We had heard good things about the Graffiti Wall, and it was kinda neat to look at, but way different than what we thought it was going to be. It was a good photo op, I guess!

Grandma and Grandpa had heard about a restaurant called Jackelope that was featured on Diners, Drive Ins and Dives, so we headed to Sixth Street for lunch to check out what it was all about. Well...they wouldn't let anyone under 21 in and we had three fitting that category, so we went across the street to Old School Grille and ended up loving it!

The White and Orange scrimmage game was being played on campus and we couldn't pass up the opportunity to check out the madness that is UT football!

Thad and Wes haven't had cotton candy many times and it was fun to watch them try to figure it out by observing the master himself-

"Hook 'em!"

Relaxing on Sunday with guests is always one of my favorite days.

And after that nice relaxing Sunday, we put our grandpa straight to work!
His willingness to help us out is always so appreciated. He is handy guy and got our TV hanging in no time...along with fixing our toilet paper roll holder, towel hooks and a few other odd jobs. Our house is always better off when he heads out!

Eve loved the owl pillow Grandma Cindy gave her-

But especially loved our farewell dinner at Rudy's!

We had such a fun visit with them and can't wait to see them this summer!
