Lagoon

Our boys saved their own pennies and did a car wash in order to get themselves to Lagoon with cousins and it was worth every piece of candy not bought and hub cap washed! We are so glad our cousins from Boise planned this day and that we were able to make it, it is not a day we will soon forget.
The Wilsons beat us there, but we met up with them around lunch time and were so excited to be together! It was just Aunt Haley, me and two of our three kids that met up with our Boise family and having a small group was a lot of fun.

Uncle Birtley was such a good sport to come with his bum leg! He hurt it BAD at the beginning of June with a 1,500 pound garage door landing on his shoulder and the impact busting up some bones in his leg. Luckily he put in a lot of hard work and learned how to use this fancy little contraption-
And we were even able to skip some of the lines with our handicapper!

The kids were SO excited to be there and I was too except that I felt real old real fast after riding some of the fast, jerky roller coasters. It's definitely different when you're younger!

I kept trying to get Thad to go on the newest ride, Cannibal, but he wouldn't do it. I didn't push too hard after going myself because it was pretty intense and it didn't have should bars. I wasn't way worried about him flying out, but I felt like I was falling out of my seat on the corkscrew part so I knew he would feel it even more!
Well, the closest he got to a scary ride was The Rocket, Re-Entry. Haley and I kind of forced Avery and Thad to go and he said he almost started crying during the free fall! He was so cute and didn't shed a tear but WOULD NOT go again!

Wes probably would have gone on all the scary rides if he could have and he was super bummed he couldn't go on Rocket so he and I got to spend lots of time together on some other rides and I sure wasn't complaining!

The big kids wandered off together so the adults and littles got to spend lots of quality time together and luckily that meant some resting to get out of the sun and regain some energy!

The Italian Ice over by Colossus was a MUST because we were so thirsty and hot! They were delicious and decently priced...win - win!

Here is the whole group-
Laney had her cute friend, Emery, with her and Aunt Tiffany's dad, Phil, came a long too and it was a really fun group!

We made our way across the park a few times, and this was our favorite mode of transportation-

For dinner we decided to leave the park and head to Chick-Fil-A at Farmington Station, but then we headed back for round two with everyone except Uncle Birtley who needed to rest and Phil who was kind enough to take him home.

The swings and Tidal Wave are always a blast! I have the funniest video of Wes making the best big eyed scary face when Tidal Wave would free fall!

And luckily they didn't measure Wes to get on the swings because he was an inch shy, but I was kind of nervous to let him sit on his own so he doubled up with me and we had a fly time with Avery and Thad-

As the night started to wind down we hit Spider several times because they didn't catch Wes' height discrepancy there either and the big kids loved Colossus! Wes couldn't do Colossus so we headed to bumper cars-
And then we were the last people they let on to White Roller Coaster while everyone else went on Colossus one last time! It was such a fun day and we squeezed every ounce of fun out of that day with our awesome cousins!
It was so much fun to be with Haley and Tiffany and just be together doing fun stuff with our kids. I love those sisters of mine and am so glad they love my kids and let me love theirs!
Another one of what I'm hoping will be many more Lagoon days!

This was also the day that Brian flew back in from Texas and he and Eve headed to the aquarium with Grandma and Grandpa Whitehouse, Kelli and Wells-

Love those two cuties!
Hip, hip, hooray for fun times with favorite people!
