After taking this picture, we couldn't help but notice how much she looked like her big brother Thad as a baby!
They could be twins!
She started faking us out acting like she was going to roll over--
I think I recorded her for about five minutes this night because I thought she was for sure going to roll! She didn't, but it was so fun to watch her try. I love the encouragement from dad!
She was a gem on our drive to Utah, and part of it was because she started taking to the Baby Wise schedule - Eat, Wake, Sleep - and it just helped her be pretty predictable.
She was napping and sleeping pretty darn good considering we were dragging her everywhere every day. We stopped making bottles in the night/early morning, but she was content to settle in with mom or dad if she did wake. Something I would have never done with my boys, but sometimes a mom's gotta do what a mom's gotta do!
Isn't she precious? She isn't the smiliest of babies, but ya know what? She's a straight shooter. If she's not amused, she's not going to pretend like she is. She would not give in for our photo shoot!
How awesome that we were outside with no jackets mid-December in Utah? Pretty awesome!
The boys kept asking if they could get in a the picture and I was saying no, but then I thought, "Why not?!" This girl loves those brothers of her so much! She watches them run around like wild boys and then they stop and say, "Hey baby sister, I love you!" in their sweetest baby voices. I would love them too if I were her.
And that tongue! Isn't it the best? We see this face a lot.
We forgot to bring her Longhorn to Utah, so a picture with Platypus had to suffice. It worked great with the pink/purple theme we had going-
This baby girl isn't always perfect, but she is perfect for our family and we're lucky to call her ours.
Happy 3 months, baby girl!
