We are half way through November and made our way out west for the holidays. Before blogging takes a back seat to all of the fun we are sure to have, here is half of our November.
Thad lives for the hour Dad comes home...Can you see why?
Thad joined Brian for some Runner's Yoga.
Aren't they cute?!
We've enjoyed some above average weather AND an above average 3 year old!
I couldn't resist taking this picture of my sweet baby and his perfect sleep smoosh face.
Although the outcome wasn't quite what we were hoping, we still made it to the polls and exercised our right to vote for the leaders of this great nation.
I had a pretty stylin' helper for some fall clean up.
Good thing we got that fall clean up taken care of because this happened shortly after.
Over on Long Island and New Jersey some people didn't have (and still don't) power yet because it was only one week post Sandy. It's been crazy. I'm not a fan of this weather.

We were lucky enough to have this sweet lady for an evening.
Tillie and Wes played so cute together and were really so easy. BUT I can't imagine having twins and dealing with the day-to-day needs of two babies.
This wasn't even hard and it made me nervous.
We hope to have her over more often.
Both Thad and Wes thoroughly enjoyed her company.
Wes isn't very conventional about the way he gets around, but as you can see, he gets to where he wants to be.
We haven't seen enough of the Farrs lately so we decided to meet in the middle at the mall playground. Clara and Wes loved the flower and we all loved being together.
Wes thought Dad was pretty funny.
Thad has been quite the bookworm lately. I catch him doing this frequently.
I sure hope it continues throughout the years!
Thad doesn't give me a nap everyday anymore. I know I'm lucky that it lasted as long as it did and that he still gives me one every now and then andwhen this happens, I really don't mind.
I love a sleeping kid.
Brian snapped this sweet picture on one of our lucky napping days. :)
We sure heart Christmas around here, and we got an early jump on decorating so that it would all be ready and waiting for us when we get back December 10th.
Luckily I had an awesome helper to get things started:
We loved having our fall decor up for so long, and Thad loved the new tradition we started of having a Thankful Tree. He helped me gather the sticks and each morning he would say, "Mom, let's do our circles!" It was a fun, easy way to be reminded of the small things like Wes' pacifier and a warm bed that we sometimes take for granted.
When I pulled out the Christmas decorations I was grateful to see these lights perfectly wound up and ready to use. Brian is meticulous about this, and it sure pays off!
I did not put one ornament on this tree. It is truly Brian's specialty and he makes it look better than I ever could. I think he's passing on this ability to our boys. Thad did a great job!
Don't be fooled, Wes and I were around but we just enjoyed admiring their work, watching Elf and sipping hot chocolate.
I love how it turned out.
