There were 12 adults and 8 kids that met at our house, enjoyed some Sweet Ashley's and made the 1.2 mile trek down to the beach for some good ol' fashioned summer entertainment.
Our family just making memories.
(Not my best shot, but that's what you get after three hours of hauling stuff out of the basement)
The Jensens
The Farrs minus Sophie...
Because she was too busy hanging out with the Monsens!
We love the Farr girls and are so happy they like us.
This baby was an absolute angel. The show didn't even start until an hour after his bedtime and you would never know it.
He is a gem.
He definitely was pooped for the walk home, but he and Clara slept pretty sound.
We headed to the Farr's and the Jensen's on the evening of July 4th (after an uneventful day spent at home cleaning up after our flood) to enjoy a simple evening of backyard fun with friends.
Hanna being the fun mom again! Perfect book about America for the holiday.
We taught Thad that the 4th was America's birthday. Every time we talked about America, we would end it with "'Merica!"
This is Thad saying that.
Perfect.
Before we knew it, it was time for sparklers before we put the kiddos to bed.
This boy loved watching.
I loved snapping pictures of all his awesome faces.
We remembered before it got too dark to take a group picture.
Seriously, what a great group of people to be making memories with.
Happy Birthday, America!
