The Doyle Wedding

The second week of school I made my way back out west for the first of what I'm sure will be many weddings on the Wilson side of the family.
This little girl got to tag along with me again and flying with her was...fine. I'll just leave it at that.

Our reunion with Mae was a bit anti-climactic because she fell asleep waiting for us in the lot (after being so excited all morning), but once she came to, she was pumped that we came back!!

We were seriously so happy to squeeze each other again!! I missed her SOOOOO much!

Liv dragged Grandpa Kent into her shoe shenanigans and got him to put them on right after I took them off. Haha!

After spending the evening smothering our Mae, I was up bright and early on Saturday morning to get a quick workout in with Tiffany!!
We hadn't seen the Boise Wilsons since summer 2021 so we smooshed in any moment we cold with them!
Love her so so much!

After that early morning workout, Mae was ready to snuggle again-
And we hung until I left to surprise Heidi for breakfast on her birthday, August 20-
We only got to spend a little over an hour together, but it was seriously the best! I love this lady so much!

Then we were lucky enough to be in town for Niko's first birthday party and it was so fun!
Missy and Correy have a gorgeous home and even more gorgeous kiddos. Love that we got to be there with them.

Cutest little cousins -- HBD, Niko!

That evening was the Doyle wedding dinner and it was perfect-
Tyson and Anna are so lucky to have each other and Haley and Jeremy. It was just a perfect night celebrating the beginning of their lives together!

For the next couple days between the dinner and wedding, we got to spend some time with some of our very favorite people-

We didn't get to see the Dunns when we were in Utah a couple weeks before because of our COVID debacle, so meeting up with Nicki and Jamie and some of our kids was so much fun!
Jamie and I both have a Mae and they got to meet for the first time! My Mae was so sweet and ran up to Jamie's Mae and gave her the biggest hug when they got there. Mae Curtis was a little shy, so it broke the ice right away and was just the cutest!

I made a stop a the temple with my little girls on our way to the Hill's house and it was so special to be on the temple grounds with them.

Love my little ladies that I get to spend forever with so much!

We spent the majority of that day at the Hill's and had lunch with Heidi and Gordon, too. I maybe daydreamed a bit too much about what it would be like to live by my bestest friends, but for now I'll just have to keep dreaming-

Brian's bday was while we were gone and it was such a bummer to miss! Luckily I had the best helpers to help him feel special on his big day (that was also his first day of teaching)-

Thad almost forgot about the Graeter's ice cream hidden in the basement freezer, but he found it and they got it done! If you know me, you know I love birthdays, so it was a bummer to miss out with my main squeeze. Love him so much!

August 24, 2022 finally rolled around and the main event was finally here!
Tyson & Anna get married!!

Their day was seriously perfect! It started out with an intimate sealing at the Oquirrh Mountain Temple that was just so special and I'm so grateful I got to attend. They had so many wonderful people waiting for them outside the temple when they were done -- it was so fun to see how many people love and care for them and are cheering them on! After some gorgeous pictures I gathered my girls and we made our way to Le Jardin reception center for the best celebration!

This wedding was such a special event for our family and I'm so grateful we were all able to be there to support Anna and Tyson in their new life, and also our sister, Haley, as she sends her boy off to be a husband. These events can be such a good reminder of what is important in life and that showing up for each other means a lot. We love the Doyles so much and are so happy for their family!

I turned into the wedding videographer for the day and put this fun little video together for them if you want to watch it on YouTube-

After that awesome wedding was all done, it was time to say goodbye and make our way back to Ohio-

Traveling with two is no joke, but we made it with naps and everything.
What an awesome trip that I'm so grateful that I got to take!
