Before we knew it, summer ended (too soon this year) and it was time for school to start!
We started the day off with a twist on our traditional "rainbow pancakes" and had rainbow whipped cream instead-
Thad started his last year of middle school, 8th grade, and we can hardly believe it-
Thad is playing his second year of football and their first game was the first day of school, so they got to sport their jerseys. He will be busy this year with three high school classes in his schedule, sports every season, and a very healthy social life. Watching him learn and grow is such a blessing!
Our awesome Wes started 5th Grade and is ready to be on top at the elementary this year-
They start prepping the kids for middle school by having then rotate through all the teachers for different subjects and he is excited about that!
His home room teacher is Mrs. Edwards and she seems really great so far. Can't believe this boy is almost done with elementary!
Miss Eve is in 2nd Grade and ready to rock it-
This girl loves school and is going to have a great year continuing to make new friends, become a stronger reader, and even more a leader than she already is!
Mrs. Milburn is her teacher and I have a feeling they are going to get along great!

Mae didn't start school until after Labor Day, but she is so excited to go to pre-school two days a week this year-
We got her a big girl back pack and everything!
Mrs. Black & Mrs. Dobbelaere are the perfect teachers for our Mae! She is so excited to be a part of the Turtle class!
After going to the Back-to-School event Mae could hardly wait the ten days she had to wait to get back in there!

It's going to be a good year!
