March Moments

Enjoy some March moments from the Monsens~

Thad became a legit Cub Scout!

So far Brian has been able to take over most of the scout responsibilities and it's been a really fun thing for them to connect over! Thad adores that amazing dad of his, so anything that gets them together makes him super happy.

Here he is being introduced at his first Pack Meeting by the Scout Master, Mark Switzer.
He even got to do a fun little skit with his Den at the first Pack Meeting...I love scout skits!

Wes has been rocking it at preschool, of course!

He currently wants to be a bug scientist and I'm sure these pictures have something to do with it!
Wes and Evan are as thick as thieves and Katie and I already talk about how cruel it is that we're moving away next year and tearing these two apart. They stay by each other as long as they can and want to play every waking moment. I love them and am so happy they have each other.

The Dunns came into town and it was so good to see them! They moved from Connecticut to Utah the week before we visited Connecticut last year so we missed them in both places and it had been too long since we had seen them!
There is something about all those Connecticutters we connected with those three years that will make us all friends fo' life.
She is pregnant with baby boy #3 in this pic, but has had him since we saw them. We are so glad they moved to a state where we can see them regularly!

We have definitely been getting a good taste of summer around these parts and Eve could NOT pass up the chance to cruise around in her swimsuit and shades!

She is adorable, but she is only two and she is already posing and sweet talking us...we are in trouble with this one!

At the beginning of the year we decided we wanted to do a family service project once a quarter no matter how big or small it may be. It was kind of the 11th hour, but for the last FHE of the month we got our grocery bags and headed to the front of the neighborhood to pick up trash in the grass along the road.

Look at those full bags!
Little acts make a big difference.

Thad performed in the Second Grade music program, "EIEI Ooops!" and although he said it was "babyish" and wasn't too excited about going, I know he had a good time performing all the fun songs he learned over the year.

And of course he had all of his fans there to support him!

To finish off the month of March, the last weekend of the month we headed to San Antonio for an evening at the temple and then the boys had a sleepover in the tent in the back yard with dad. It was a good weekend.

I love those bodies to the moon a million times over.

And these kids are lucky to have the awesomest dad there ever was!

What a good month for the Monsens!
