Along with the end of school comes A LOT of papers, art and school work sent home! There is definitely too much to keep so we use our trusty system of picking our favorite pieces of work to keep in a file box (which took a couple hours the day after school) and take pictures of art work. This helps Thad to part with his works of art and me to not have these beauties floating around for ever and ever...win-win!

This was his Genius Hour project that he did all by himself. They could pick whatever topic and do whatever sort of display they wanted.
He is my favorite and I'm so glad he loves Russia because of his daddy!
Thad told me several times that he worked really hard on this one-
He doesn't have much patience for art, so I know this was hard for him to repeat the patterns and do intricate (for him) drawings. I'm proud of him for trying so hard!
I sure love this boy and am proud of him for creating some really great pieces of art even though he reminded me often that it is his least favorite subject.
