January

Our January was pretty low key and we just spent a lot of time hanging out and enjoying one another. We got back from Utah on the 8th and it was rough getting back into the swing of things, but we managed and actually loved being back in our house together.

Eve had no trouble in the cute department, that's for sure!

Thad missed his first basketball practice while we were in Utah, but he was just fine and fit in great!

Thad had this little gem sent home with him his first day back to school-
Isn't he a handsome McGee?! He smiled perfectly and I'm sure his photographer didn't say, "Show me your teeth!" Retakes were totally worth it!
Speaking of show me your teeth, we had a fun/random photo shoot one Sunday after church sparked by this-
 SHOW ME YOUR TEETH!
Wes didn't quite get his, but that face is cute too. And after this shot, we were on a roll!

 EXTRA HAPPY-

CRAZY-

SAD-
Wes is for sure my fave in this one! So real.

ANGRY-

LAUGHING-

CONFUSED-

SILLY-

SURPRISED-

 FECK (Face-neck, obviously)-

EYES ON THE PRIZE-

PIG-

And Eve just sat there and put up with all of it!
She's perfection.

And I snuck a few more pics of the boys before I put the camera away!

I love these crazies of mine!

We had to put all of our Christmas decor away when we got back and we realized Melvin forgot his Elf on the Shelf book. This is the exchange that took place:

Here are some fun random moments:

Those hippo teeth make me all sorts of happy!

I love seeing Thad be big. When I go out to meet him after school, I love seeing him goof around with his friends and just having fun.

I sent this picture to my brothers and told them I was having horrible flash backs of when they used to give Brigitte and me tickle tortures! My boys think it is so funny, but I DID NOT like it when my brothers would do it. I probably deserved it most of the time, but it really was torture!

And the days of amazing weather just reminded me why we put up with the crazy summers that we do!
Eve spent several afternoons perched on this ledge in the Bumbo. We even had a car washing/swim suit Saturday towards the end of the month!

And that, my friends, makes for one awesome January!
