UTAH - The First Week

Brian was able to stay for 3 WHOLE WEEKS because he was in between his FASB rotation and starting as a Senior at Ernst and Young in Manhattan. We knew opportunities like these would be few and far between, so we took full advantage and spent a wonderful few weeks of summer in Utah.

After spending the holiday and lots of our free time with family, we couldn't wait to spend time with so many wonderful friends!

Heidi and Sadie Mae were the first on our list.
We miss these ladies SO much and were so happy to spend some time with them a few times throughout our trip.
Best friends separated. It's a crime.
One of the best gals I know.
Sadly, the only picture we got of our night at the Faux's house...but isn't Laney adorable!
Kim and I were lucky to overlap a couple days in UT, so Hailey was kind enough to host a BBQ at her mom's place so we could all catch up together.
It was so wonderful to see all these gals!
Nic left before I could get a picture of the guys, so Ben and Brian were the only ones left to get a pic of.

The darling children minus Ruby. Nic stole her when he left.

July is a hot month, so lots of time was spent in the water this trip!
Backyard water fun at Grandma Cindy's!
It was so wonderful to see the Boise Wilsons after such a long time!
It had been over a year since we'd seen them last, so what a great reunion for us!
Carter was SO darling with all the little ones and helped them overcome their fears and go down the slip-n-slide. He is such a good big brother and was so sweet to help his little cousins out.
Thad only dared to do it once, but I'm glad Carter was there to help him!

The next big item on our agenda was Wilson Family pictures. The last time we all had pictures together was before I was pregnant with Thad, so it was definitely time since 4 new ones had joined the family in those years between. We didn't get lucky enough to have someone not pregnant in the pictures (me), but it will be fresh for a little while longer.

We headed to a field by Riley and Jen's house so we could get the Oquirrh Mountain Temple in the background, but we were lucky enough to get the pictures we got with the rain!
Thad patiently waiting our turn in the rain.

Afterwards we headed to Gma and Gpa Wilson's to spend some time all together as a family!
It had been far too long since this had been done!
 Handsome men!
Lovely Ladies!
