The day started out early as the Wilson family got together for a little competitive 5k (which was a little tough for us as our flight left late and we arrived in SLC at about 1am, putting us in bed at 3am). We didn't get any pics, but it was a lot of fun and Brian killed everyone. :) Tiffany was the girl winner, and I took a slow second due to my condition.
After the race we headed to the Whitehouse's to play water games with the whole family...It was SO much fun!
Todd and Brian weren't too happy about Thad stealing all the water balloons just to throw them on the lawn, but he just loved it so much that nobody would stop him.
The bad teams (minus Todd and Kelsie)
The AWESOME team!
We got this water rainbow out for Thad to play with, but he hated it when the hose was on...
So everyone played limbo instead.
Human Battleship!
Todd came up with this really clever game and it was lots of fun!
The boys were the first to get out.
They were bummed.
The water game of ALL water games!
Run around shooting at each others Alka Seltzer necklaces trying to dissolve everyone's but yours!
I think Kel and Kay were some of the first ones out.
Merit won.
This is the beginning of "That Guy."
After games we headed inside to share some good news...
It took a minute for everyone to catch on to what the shirt said and meant....
But everyone was super excited (and we even got some tears) when we announced that I was 10 weeks pregnant with baby #2 who will make their debut around February 2, 2012.
Afterwards we headed to Aunt Haley's house for some 4th of July BBQ and to enjoy some fireworks!
Thad liked Snaps the best. Fairly harmless.
Uncle Jeremy lighting sparklers.
I wonder why the kids are standing so far back...?
All the gals getting ready for the grand finale...
It was awesome!
The Wilson family was also excited to hear our big news which made our holiday all the better.
Happy Independence Day!
