We Super Bowled with the other Monsens and had a blast, of course!
I love that these cousins have each other.
Brian decided to be super spontaneous and on Thursday, February 9 left for Dallas with the boys at 4:45 p.m., picking up Uncle Todd in Waco, to got to the Mavericks vs. Jazz game that started at 7 p.m.! They got cheap tickets and had a blast!
The Jazz didn't win, but luckily they have some loyal fans that love them no matter what!
Here are some more pictures of Thad's little accident-
Love this brave boy of mine!
Eve was bothering me during FHE and Brian caught me doing my mothering thing again at my finest-
Luckily she forgives me and smiles big in her undies and princess shoes at the breakfast table!
Those shoes are actually a "Poo Prize" she earned while potty training! I didn't document it much, but during the month we got her potty trained in a weekend and she hasn't looked back! She is so smart and made it really, really easy on us. I love her so much. And we are done with diapers...for the time being.
She went pantless for a while when training and I got lots of views like this-
I can't complain about that!
Brian had this gorgeous view on his run-
I'm so glad he has awesome trails and beautiful views while he runs in Austin.
I had a bit of a hair fiasco and had to chop most of it off, luckily it turned out ok!
Thad had his Destination Imagination competition and rocked it! He was a part of this small team all year and they wrote a skit and did all the props on their own with a little help from some parents a couple weekends. He had a lot of fun using his imagination and was happy to get the part of Narrator. They did such a good job!
Wes got to go on a field trip to the dentist with his class and he loved it! The fact that it was Evan's dad made it that much cooler!
Ms. Shelley had to remind them to be on their best behavior...it mostly worked.
Dr. Brown is a lot of fun and the kids loved learning about dental hygiene from him!
And Eve knows how to get whatever she wants...
Go to Ms. Shelley. The end.
I got to teach at our stake's women's conference and it was a lot of fun!
I taught about fitness and even though it was hard to step out of my comfort zone, I did it and had the support of ward members and friends like Kristen to cheer me on!
And to top off our February Moments:
Skateboarding lessons from Jaden-
Eve on her scooter bike in a princess dress-
Eve with some awesome bedhead-
Eve with a cheesy grin at the doctor's office-
A cute timeline project by Thad-
And a bedtime snuggle with my favorites-
