A Texas October includes lots of outside time and shorts.
The weather continued to cooperate so we could keep going on our morning walks-
These walks have been a great way to exercise immediately post-partum and some good one on one time for Wes and me. He can get bored and sometimes I feel bad when I can't stop so he can play at the park, but over all it has been great.
We were able to make a trip to San Antonio the first weekend of October to see these awesome people:
Birtley won an award for being awesome at work and they flew him and Tiff to San Antonio to present it to him. Luckily Teresa was here to watch the kids so that Brian and I could make the trip and visit the temple while we were at it. We had a nice dinner on the River Walk, had great conversation, and then finished the night off in the House of the Lord.
It was a perfect night.
Thad was the Star Student in his Kindergarten class the third week of October and we made him this fun little poster to highlight him:
We may not be the craftiest family around, but the poster was green and it was all about Thad, and that made him a happy camper.
I love this Star Student of mine!
Eve kept getting bigger and the boys love her more and more every day.
And if that girl wasn't enough to make us smile, these boys keep us smiling EVERY day!
Brian was smart enough to capture the perfect moment of fresh wake up-ness after Wes had to put a diaper on after an accident. He wasn't happy about it, but he sure looked cute!
This boy can be found with vehicle in hand 90% of the time!
"Thad was punching dad. I kicked dad. I threw a ball at dad. I threw a bomb at dad."
How could you not smile with stuff like that coming at you every day?!
We sure love these beautiful boys of ours!
