This boy eats and sleeps like a gem and that definitely contributes to his awesomeness. He will eat just about anything I put in his mouth and is always wanting more, more, more! Nap time and night time are a breeze. He needs a blanket, a paci and a quiet place to sleep and he is out.
He also started sitting up...while attended. He isn't much of a mover, but I really think he'll be happier when he can crawl, roll more and sit up better on his own. Don't get me wrong: the kid is happy! Fat and happy, but maybe it will completely eliminate all crying. Yeah right.
It's so funny to compare kids. Thad was pretty close to crawling and started doing so shortly after turning 7 months. Wes is not even close. We love his heaviness, so I will just enjoy the fat and immobility while I can because I know it won't last long. Before I know it I will be baby proofing everything in my house and having to open and shut gates every time I go up and down the stairs.
The boy is laughing or smiling most of the time and it is super contagious. If I catch a sweet smile of his, I can't help but do the same. Even if Thad is driving me bananas or something of the like. He can also make awesome noises that I wish I could describe, but I can't. Just imagine the cutest cooing ever and then times it by 1,000,000. Even then I don't think you could imagine it.
Sometimes I don't ever want him to get big, but I love getting to know him better and I love seeing his brother get more excited about interacting with him. Life is good and so are brothers and so are big, heavy babies.
A HUGE thanks to Aunt Brigitte for her wonderful photography skills. So happy I could capture one of my favorite stages with her beautiful work.
