5 Years and Counting

What a huge milestone for Brian and I to reach! 

We've been married 5 WHOLE YEARS!

It doesn't sound like much, but each year just keeps getting better.

We didn't do anything too exciting to celebrate, but sometimes those are the best times, right?! I have amazing friends that were willing to help  me with Thad, so I picked up Brian from work for a delicious lunch..

We chose an awesome little "whole in the wall" Venezuelan restaurant in Norwalk, Valencia's. Brian had never been before and the place was crazy busy but we enjoyed waiting out on the sidewalk for our delicious lunch. 

When Bri got home from work we exchanged gifts, nothing too exciting:

Again, nothing too exciting, but things we have both mentioned we needed. :)

I made a yummy dinner and we spent the evening with Mike and Kaitie because Brian and Mike were getting ready to run the Ragnar Relay the next morning. It was a beautiful, relaxing day.

It's crazy to think 5 years have come and gone since our wonderful wedding day, but I wouldn't have wanted them to go any differently than they have. Brian and I continue to learn about each other as we go through these different phases of life and it is such a joy to share our lives together. I can't wait to see what the next 5 years have in store for us.
