Eve's baptism day was so beautiful and we are all so blessed that we were able to be a part of it. This girl shines inside and out and it really came through on that day and I'm so grateful she was surrounded by so much love and support and that she knew what she was doing was right. I am so grateful for her desire to follow our Savior, Jesus Christ.
Take a look at all these people cheering her on, setting examples, and loving her unconditionally.
We were all so glad some of our Utahns were here!
As the program started, Eve was beaming and tried to soak it all in. She listened to Grandma Cindy talk about baptism and I could feel her excitement/joy rising as she knew it was almost her turn to partake in this beautiful gift.
These cutest brothers got to be the witnesses for her baptism and did a great job. No toes or hair to report! First time was the charm.
It was so fun to go back with her to help her get dressed afterwards. The boys have gone back with Dad, so this was new for me and I loved every second of it. Her smile was permanent and I felt so much love for her and I hope she felt it from me as well as her Heavenly Parents!
Grandma Teresa wrapped things up with a great Holy Ghost talk and she gave Eve the coziest blanket that I hope always reminds Eve of the warmth and comfort the Spirit provides to those given this gift.
A beautiful confirmation and blessing ended this sweet ordinance and Eve is continuing on the "pathway to heaven" and we are all so lucky to be right along side her.
We went to our home for refreshments and had such a great time with so many that came to support her!

I wish I would have gotten a picture of Eve with each family, but here's one with the kids and that's a quick list from left to right of the families that came to support.

We are so proud of you, Eve, and this wonderful decision you have made. We know with our whole hearts that this is the best decision you have made thus far in your life. We know from experience that, yes your membership in the gospel, but mostly your desire and dedication to Jesus Christ will not only bless, guide, and simplify your life, but so many others along the way. We hope you always know you are a beloved daughter of God and nothing you can do will change that. We love you, the Lord loves you -- never forget that.
