We got the best treat for the first week of summer and got House and Grandpa Russ to Dublin for the PGA Memorial Tournament.
Grandma and Grandpa didn't get here until late Thursday night, but the passes were for all week, so Dad took the three big kids on Thursday afternoon for a couple hours to check things out. They lasted much longer than I thought they would and had a good time!

Russ and Teresa made it to Ohio late Thursday night and after spending the morning together, we were off to the golf course for most of the day on Friday-
We had such a fun time following a few different groups and walking the majority of the course. It wasn't too hot and we took a few good breaks and all just loved being at our first pro golf event!

It was a long day, but so so fun! Thad was a trooper and held the fort down with all five of them and I was so proud of him stepping up and doing it (don't worry, we paid him well).
Saturday we were up bright and early for Wes and Eve's first swim meet and we were so happy Grandma and Grandpa had the chance to see them swim-

For the tournament on Saturday, Dad, Grandma, Grandpa, and Eve went for the day and set up camp between Holes 11, 12, and 13, and just watched all the players come through those holes. It was a more relaxing day and Eve had so much fun checking out all the holes and having some independence on the course.

Sunday was spent at church and watching the final round of the tournament from the comfort of our couch with the A/C running.

A nice walk to round out the weekend was perfect.

We had so much fun with them and are so glad they got to come out to be with us! They left Monday night, but I had to head to Young Women's camp Monday morning and I had so much fun with my girls and leaders!
I only stayed one night, but I'm so glad I was able to go, we had such a great time.
Brian had to head out a business trip to Nashville as soon as I got back from camp so I got the kids to myself for a few days and we tried to have some fun-
We got Wendy's one night and ate at the park and it ended a little sooner than we hoped after a Frosty spill on the blanket, but it was a beautiful night and those are some beautiful kids!
Mae really missed Daddy and tried to call him a lot to check in-
We spent an evening at the park and it kept Thad thoroughly engaged-
We got to babysit Shivani for the day and it was something fun to break the days up-
The Wernli's had more strawberries than they knew what to do with, and since dad was gone on that Saturday night we hauled ourselves over there to partake in the goodness-

Brian got back late Saturday night, had early morning church meetings on Sunday, but luckily got the run the A/V and sit in the pews with us-
The girls were more than excited to have him home!
Thad has been doing a landscaping job with Kevin Joyce and is rollin' in the dough-

He has done such a great job working hard at his sports camps, getting his responsibilities done at home, and working with Kevin. This kid is going places.
Pool days are our (everyone minus Liv) favorite and we try to fit them in as much as we can.
She might look cute, but she cries. A lot. And it's annoying but I make her do it anyway. Building character over here, people.
Faye (one of my Young Women) has been a life saver at the pool and will stay and play with my little girls when we come during swim team. Thank you, Faye!
Father's Day
It's no secret that Dad is our favorite. He makes it really easy to celebrate him and we had the best time doing it!
Liv and I got to hang out in the foyer for the second hour at church on Father's Day and luckily dad joined us after we got a few solo pictures.
She's cute, but she's a monster. Church is no fun right now.
Brian Monsen, we love you so so much and think you are just the greatest dad ever. Thank you for being the man and father you are.
We spent some time outside, one of this guy's favorite things, and just had a fun relaxing day together-

Thad and Brian made it to the Inidianapolis temple for a youth trip-
And it was SO BRIGHT!

The kids really want to go to Lagoon when we go to Utah, so Thad and Mae got some good practice in-

Spent an afternoon at Shale Hollow with some friends from church and it was beautiful!
Thank heavens for the best young women that play with littles.
Thad got his herbst appliance in his mouth and it was sad and funny all at the same time-
Liv is extra cute, but also not sometimes-
Faye stopped by on a Sunday for some cute bracelets she made for my girls-
Again, thank heavens for amazing young women.
We made some delicious zucchini brownies and took them to Faye and her family to say thank you-

Thad was able to attend a wrestling camp at Ohio State and had the best experience!
He loves wrestling since trying it for the first time last winter and was up for the challenge when they said, "bring a few changes of clothes and only come if you're serious." I'm so proud of him!
He and Brian were able to have lunch and hang out during one of the big breaks in the day. Such fun memories for our Thad-man.

And of course we had to invite the Rancs who love it just as much as we do! They moved to Dublin last year from Texas, so they are missing the Tex-Mex as much as we are.
