We were all so excited for our day at Universal and couldn't wait to get to see all the Harry Potter amazingness!
Hagrid's Motorbike Adventure was our first ride and the wait was incredibly long and we weren't prepared and it was nuts. To take advantage of rider swap with the little girls, they had to wait in line with us without a stroller and it got tricky, but we made it work and the rides at Universal were just incredible!
While Brian went back to do the ride in the castle Mae and I staked out a spot in Hogsmeade and got all the butter beers!
Frozen, cold, and warm
They were all delicious, but warm was my favorite and the kids loved the frozen. Go figure.
Next up was wand selection-
Love our little witches and wizards!
Another stroll through Hogsmeade before heading to the BIG rides-
The wait for Velocicoaster was about an hour, but TOTALLY WORTH IT! Even looking like this crazy circus in line-
It was the coolest roller coaster Brian and I have ever been on and the boys couldn't have loved it more! They were so happy they were able to go on it twice in a row!
The boys went over to The Hulk next and I took the girls on this super boring One Fish, Two Fish ride, but I dug deep and made it seem super fun as you can tell from this picture-
After that exciting morning we made our way to the Hogwart's Express for our ride to Diagon Alley-
Another long line meant for silly wand action!
The big kids and I went at waited in the way too long of line for the Gringott's ride (luckily the ride broke down for a minute when we were almost done with it and we got to stay on and ride it again!) while Brian strolled around with the girls for their naps-
He barely even stopped to grab this turkey leg for his dinner! Luckily they didn't wake up for this picture!
A little more time in Diagon Alley casting spells, a spin on the Men In Black ride and we were out of there before dark -- we were spent!
What an awesome day!
