Wes is 9!

 Wes is SO MUCH FUN to celebrate because of the fantastic kid that he is every day. I can't believe we've had him 9 whole years. The past year has been a bit of a doozy for everyone with the pandemic, but you would never know it with this kid. 

This boy of ours still loves video games and was happy with the fun decor we hung for his bday-

Can't you just feel the joy radiating from that darling face?

Eve gave him a sweet homemade gift and his hug to her is my favorite.

He still loves vehicles, video games, and fantasy so he was a happy camper!

But this was the big daddy present-

A bike!

These boys of ours are with friends all the time and the trails here make it so easy to get around, so a bike is a must for any kids with friends.

Dad picked out the blue and it suits him perfectly!

The kids are still doing hybrid school and only go to the school in the afternoons for learning, so after he got some school work done I took him and the girls to the mall for him to make his very own Baby Yoda!

Look how happy those eyes are! He has wanted one since he saw Ryan's and is really excited to have him!

WE had good company, too, and enjoyed some delicious Chick-Fil-A at the food court before dropping him off for his half day at school. 

He enjoyed a relaxing afternoon and some time on his bike-

All while Dad made his requested birthday meal and dessert.,.

Crepes!

We had some yummy ham and cheese (minus the ham for Wes) ones for dinner and then had Graeter's ice cream wrapped up in them for dessert. Everyone was very happy with Wes' birthday meal request!

We love this Wesley boy so much and are so happy he is ours. Mae is so lucky to have him as a big brother-

Happiest 9th birthday to our favorite red-head, we love you with our whole hearts!

For his birthday celebration we did a combined birthday party for him and Thad and rented out a movie theater to watch The Karate Kids with their friends. Birthday parties have been few and far between since the pandemic started so it was a fun way to get together and celebrate!

We invited Wes' friends' siblings, to hang out with Eve, too!

The movie was a little long for some, but all were karate-ing by the end of the night!
