Decade Old Thad

This boy hit double digits and he isn't sad about it! It's kind of crazy all the things this boys has done in 10 years moving all around the country with his crazy parents, but I hope he always loves that part of him and seeks adventure and delight in change and new experiences.

We didn't do much early before school since Dad couldn't be around, but he opened a few gifts, got ready for a snowy day at school, and then Eve and I surprised him with lunch at school.

We had a great afternoon while we waited for Dad to get home for gifts and a yummy dinner.

This was his favorite gift he received-

Do you see those big eyes and cutest face?
Well, that kid got a ticket to London with us!
We really want to expose our kids to the big, beautiful globe we live on so we are bringing him along on our trip to visit London and stay with the Farrs. We are all so excited about it! Eve and Wes were sad for a hot minute before we told them that Grandma Cindy is coming to pick them up and take them to Utah for the two weeks we're gone! Win-Win!

We enjoyed an awesome dinner together before devouring these delicious donuts from Der Dutchman-

It's kind of insane how quickly a decade passes and how different each decade leaves you at the end of it. It's been a good decade with you, kid, and I am thrilled I get to watch you over this next decade and know I will be amazed at the end of it of who you have become. You're the best biggest brother, oldest son, and Thaddeus Monsen this planet has ever known. Keep being you. We love you!
