The week following Christmas was pretty awesome - minus the stomach flu hitting Brian and I for about 12 hours each - but Brian was able to be home for two whole weeks! The boys loved having him around.
It was even warm enough to take a walk!
Not warm enough to go without gloves, tho.
This is us waiting for Dad to run back and get Thad's gloves.
Also, I ended up carrying that scooter most of our 15 minute walk around the block. We'll work on that.
When we were all done being sick, and Emmy was kind enough to fill in last minute to babysit our kids because our sitter's family was sick, we headed to the city to enjoy one of our Christmas presents:

The show was a lot of fun, but the end was definitely my favorite:
My iPhone obviously does not give it justice, but the live nativity was simply spectacular.
It was so refreshing to see the true meaning of Christmas given some much deserved attention.
Thad graduated from nursery!
This isn't the whole class, but Lillian is the only girl!
Boys, Boys, Boys!
These boys are so cute together. Thad does Joyschool with Jared and Will and loves having them in class with him at church.

Thad is going to be a Sunbeam!
He is so ready for this and will do so well. They have come into Primary to get a feel for things and he loves waving at me and sitting in the little chairs.
He is so big! Time sure does fly!
To celebrate another fantastic year, we headed over to the Francia's for our third year in a row:

Pierce is not pictured, but he had some awesome new toys to share with Eve and Thad.

These two didn't quite make it to Midnight, but we got some stellar pics before they snoozed their way into 2013.
Muah!
Headbandz is definitely a hit this year for good reason!
This is what we did while waiting for 12:00 to roll around.
It definitely made the time pass too quickly.

We were so pumped to finally see the show we have heard so much about since we moved back here.
Radio City Music Hall did not disappoint! The show was a lot of fun, but the end was definitely my favorite:

Those are real camels, and the whole display was just awesome.
I would recommend this show to anyone. If you have kids, take them.
It was fun to see the tree during the day without a huge crowd.
We ended our date with lunch at The Burger Joint inside Le Parker Meridian Hotel.
We've eaten there a couple times and love their burgers and quirky restaurant.
The Christmas Spectacular topped of our Christmas season just right, so I figured it was time to take the decorations down. Brian thought I was a bit of Scrooge because we didn't even make it to New Years, but it was kind of refreshing to take it down.
This is the one thing I still haven't taken down.
I LOVE having Christmas cards up, and I think I will let them stay a little longer.

I sure love this man of mine.
So many good things happened in 2012, and I'm sad to see it go, but excited for the change and growth that is sure to happen in 2013.
We're blessed, we're happy and we're ready for a new year!
