Fall Fun with the Farrs

We don't get to see the Farrs as often as we'd like since they moved about 20  minutes south of us this summer. Brian and Tracy work together in the city, so they get to see lots of each other, but for Hanna and I to pack kids up and take the chance of sitting in lots of traffic on I-95 is another story. Our ward also got split a couple months before they moved and so Sunday isn't even a guaranteed time to see them.

We try to get together as much as we can and enjoy every minute of it when we do! The past couple weeks we have been lucky enough to meet up with them TWICE! That's pretty good record for us.

Last Saturday we headed to a Fall Festival at a local church. The kiddos had lots of fun!

Enjoying the scenery while we waited for the Farrs.

After the bounce house, they reluctantly got their faces painted.
Thad's is a dino...well, it was supposed to be.
 Craft time was next!
 Thad modeling his sweet necklace!

It ended up being a really fun day and the kids loved all the activities and treats.

A few days later the girls headed north to have some Halloween fun at our house. It wasn't as fun as we'd hoped because Thad threw up right before they got there and was having troubles out the other end too. :( He was a good sport though, and they were brave enough to tough it out for a couple hours for lunch and some cookies.
 Pumpkin and bat sugar cookies...SPOOKY!
 Mmmmm....

 One happy girl!
You would never know this kid was sick! He is such a good boy.

We're so lucky to have such great friends and are so glad we can have fun with them no matter what.
