Mae Turns 1!

We got to spend Mae's first birthday in Connecticut with the Farrs and we couldn't have asked for a better day. COVID-19 has changed a lot of our plans and cancelled lots of things, but this baby girl's birthday in gorgeous Connecticut with our favorite people was the highlight of our summer. We can't imagine life without her, she has made this year a better one and also made quarantine bearable...what would we do without her?
Monsens don't sleep in, so we were all up and ready to celebrate this baby gal bright and early! And Hanna is the best and helped me decorate and make Mae's day the special day it should be!

This is the best shot I could get of her showing us that she's one!
This girl can hold her own bottle, but daddy spoiled her an did it for her on her big day.

We got to work on her cake in the afternoon and the kids had so much fun helping and making cupcakes for themselves. Birthdays are so much fun!

After our sweet gal took a couple of naps and the sun was just right, we woke her up for a fun little photo shoot and I love every single picture! Hanna has such a good eye and made this all happen. She is the best!

After we got all the pretty pictures we pulled out the cake and let this little one year old go to town!
 "I'm ONE!"

She didn't get too crazy with the smash cake, but did love the candle holder made out of chocolate!

Had to let Grandma in on the cake action!

How lucky we are to have this baby girl in our family! Her first year has flown by and even though I mostly don't like the pandemic, everyone has been able to spend so much time with her and I can't let that blessing go unnoticed. Watching and experiencing a baby grow up is a little miracle.

We finished off the night with dinner and a little swim and it was just the most perfect little one year old party for this summer babe.
Mae, we love you so much and look forward to all the years we get to spend with you!

10-Month Mae

Babies are so fun and each month just gets better in my eyes. There is the joy of a fresh baby from heaven and we enjoyed just about every minute of that with this girl, but man, she sure is getting better with age! Her teeth, her babbles, her robotic crawling is just SO MUCH FUN! And she sleeps through the night...every night. And it's amazing.

Her personality and preferences are really coming out and this scrunchy face she makes is our favorite!

She loves being outside and watching others outside. All my babies have loved the outdoors and this gal is no different.

She still loves her paci for which I am so grateful! Another thing all of my babies have loved and it sure comes in handy!

She has probably watched way too much TV for a 10-month old, but man--
Fourth kid + Quarantine = lots of TV.

This girl can get wherever she wants these days! Crawling like a little robot boss and pulling up to EVERYTHING--the couch, the dishwasher, my legs (while I'm sitting or standing), the stairs...anything and everything.

 Peek-a-boo!

Her first Easter happened this month-

Sweetest little chicks!!

She just loves being a big girl and is pretty happy doing her thing or being held by mom or dad.

We love our big girl baby!

Wes' baby love is still burnin' hot! She is so big and heavy, but he can still get her to cuddle with him once in a while.

And  wear cute Pokemon hats...he's training her young!

Mae used to have a strong pull towards Eve and I, but now that everyone is home all the time she is loving all the attention she gets and prefers us all...ok, maybe dad the most.

CAN YOU EVEN WITH THESE TEETH?!?!
Here hippo teeth bring us so much happiness! Wes and Mae are our hippo teeth babes and it just makes those smiles so yummy.

I tried to get some pictures with her in from of our tulips but she wasn't digging the sidewalk so much..

So we moved to the backyard and got the perfect shot of our sweet 10 month Mae-

We love this busy body baby so much and even though she wouldn't let me get a good shot with Brutus we know she is growing strong, healthy, and happy.
