We all got everything wrapped-
Talk about Santa's work shop!
And then Eve was ready to hit the town dressed in all her red-
Isn't she the perfect Eve on Christmas Eve?
We were all as excited as she looks to get to Grandma Cindy and Grandpa Kent's to begin our Christmas Eve celebrations!
As soon as we got there, Dad and Grandpa Kent headed out the door to get this yummy Chinese food. As you can tell, it was a big hit! I love when awesome things aren't a lot of work.
It was so fun to be there while this exciting night was passing.
And I sure love my babes in some Christmas lighting-
After dinner, Great Grandpa Ralph and Great Grandma Ramona also joined us and then the fun really began!
Winner! Winner! Chicken dinner!
Thad was over the moon about the thought of just playing the games, but when money became involved, well, that just took it to the next level!
Mona was kind enough to hang with the babe so Brian and I could get our game on, too!
Wes is a Hungry Hippo master. We don't even go easy on him!
The games were so fun and lasted quite a while and afterwards we were able to sit around and enjoy the wonderful people we call family. Lots of pictures were a must.
Thad got into a fight with the stool at some point-
Luckily Dr. Dad stepped in and we didn't have to rush to the ER.
Wes really didn't want to be done playing-
And Grandma is always up for making those grandbabes happy, so she kept things rolling.
Eve could have stayed in those arms all night, but alas, it was time to get home before the Big Man made his appearance!
Thanks for an awesome night of celebrating , Grandma and Grandpa Wilson! We couldn't have wished it any other way!
When we got back to Grandma and Grandpa Whitehouse's Wes wasn't too excited about getting into his jammies...
But we convinced him to do it and to hang out with the Monsen-Whitehouse gang for a little bit!
Soon enough it was time for bed so Santa wouldn't skip our house!
Stockings were set out and babes were quickly put to sleep.

The gingerbread house decorating contest!
So here's the deal. This has become a big deal over the last 3-4 years at the Whitehouse home. This was the first year Brian and I participated and we were kind of blind sided by the amount of planning that had gone in by the other contestants. Nobody could bring their own stuff to use, only food items from their kitchen is allowed, but having a theme planned out can go a long way when you're wondering what to use.
Eve woke up shortly after the time started and creativity is NOT my strong point anyways, so I left it up to Brian and was more than happy with whatever he could come up with.
I think we got about an hour to finish the whole thing, and ours was definitely not the best.
Can you guess which one?
Lets just say Brian went crazy with the construction theme...
Haha! You may laugh now, but it got some sympathy votes on social media which was more than some of them got!
