Our littlest Liv Marie is Uno and we had an absolute blast celebrating our perfect little ginger gal. And as I've said with all my babes, it is true with her, that the first year absolutely flew by! It was perfect, but now that it's over, I can just hardly believe it. Knowing she is my last I feel like I did a great job soaking it up and I am so grateful for the normalcy we had with all the other kids this year because even though it was busy, I thrive off routine so my days with Mae and Liv while the big kids were at school are ones I will cherish forever.
Liv is an absolute joy-
I could just eat her up!
There is something special about the first year and wrapping it up this May has been bitter sweet knowing this is the last first year I will experience as a mama-
Luckily this sweet gal just gets better every month and with her first year behind us, we have so much to look forward to, especially getting to know her more and more with every passing year.
I just love her perfect little baby body and red hair and tiny toes. Soaking it all up.
Now that we have seen all her cuteness during her 12th month of life, on to her actual bday!
Her day fell on Memorial Day this year, so we spent the morning giving her quick birthday wishes then heading to Scioto Park for our ward's annual holiday breakfast-
This girl is a huge hit with the youth in our ward! Faye is especially sweet and loves to be with my little girls when she can.
Thad and Oakley smoked Riley and his friend at Spike Ball!
What a fun birthday morning!
We party prepped for the rest of the day and snuck in a little photo shoot before our dinner guests arrived-
Before we knew it, some of our favorite people that love Liv so much arrived and the party was on-
Sacketts - Rancs - Joyces
Love all those friendly faces so much!
Brian smoked some pretty bomb meat and we had a delicious Tex-Mex inspired meal.
We stayed inside because it was blazing hot and it worked out perfectly!
We gathered the kids to sing happy birthday and see if Liv would dive into her cake, but she wasn't overly interested-
After some yummy treats and more chatting we made it out back for the piƱata!
Candy for everyone!
What a fun night we had celebrating our Liv! We are so grateful for you, you are the perfect bookend to our family of 7. Happiest 1 year, baby girl, we love you to the moon and back a million times!
