We always love a weekend at our favorite cabin with our favorite people! 

Snowbird

Aunt Brigitte and Uncle Rob are so generous to let us join them up at the time share at Snowbird. It is GORGEOUS up there and we were lucky enough to do some swimming and hiking while we were with them!

Mt. Timp Half Marathon

Brian is a running machine and totally rocked this half marathon! It started early in the morning at the top of Mt. Timp and he made it down in a jiffy-

 Thad and I were lucky enough to meet him at the finish line and cheer him on-

This boy sure has the best dad! 

We sure love all the fun the Utah mountains have to offer!!

Friend Weekend

The second weekend of July we were lucky enough to spend lots of time with friends. Friends from CT and friends from UT and all felt right in the world.

The boys and I met up with the Russ' and the Underwoods at the children's museum in SLC and had such a fun afternoon. The Russ' moved to Utah (way unexpectedly) so it was so great to know they would be in Utah and hear more of the story about how they made that decision so quickly.

We had such a fun day catching up and playing with friends!

A couple of days later we were lucky enough to keep Alex with us all day while we hung out with our Utah friends. We celebrated Jason's birthday at the Herriman Reservoir and had so much fun beachin' it with our friends!

After the beach we spent some time in West Jordan, packed up a few things and headed back up to Logan with a stop in West Point to see the Hills and pass Alex off to Emily who was at her mom's house that is really close to Haley!

  

Thad and Alex are a special pair. I'm still so sad they won't be together all the time, but I am just so glad they have had each other the past couple years!

The 4th of July

We love being in Utah for this holiday! We started out the day at the Grandma Teresa's and Grandpa Russ' for our favorite round of water games!

I didn't play a whole lot, mostly just hung out with this guy: 

And I can't complain about that!

After our fun afternoon of water fun we headed to the Doyle's for a delicious dinner and the firework show. 

Oh, and some more water-

 And Wes wasn't the biggest fan of those loud noises. Not even the little pink wagon could convince him. Luckily he has the nicest daddy that didn't mind missing the show and hung out inside with him. There's not much that dad wouldn't do for his little redhead!
